About

Our Story

Prima Injera began with a simple goal: share real African hospitality through honest cooking. Our owner grew up in Africa, later moved to Virginia, and built an Ethiopian restaurant that became a neighborhood favorite. Guests came for the food and stayed for the warmth. That same spirit now lives in Georgia, where Prima Injera brings the flavors and traditions he cares about most to a new community.

Cooked the Way It’s Meant to Be

Recipes here are guided by memory, time, and respect for the craft. Spices are toasted, sauces are layered, and injera is made with care so every bite tastes like home. Nothing is rushed. The goal is simple: serve food that honors where it comes from and makes guests feel welcome at the table.

Community First

In Virginia, our owner was known as much for kindness as for cooking. He supported local events, knew guests by name, and kept his doors open for celebrations both big and small. Prima Injera is built on that same promise in Georgia, where we are able to connect African cuisine to more people. We show up for our neighbors, host gatherings, and put care into every order because a restaurant should make a place feel more like home.

An Open Invitation
